We are so happy to announce that Roberta Schultz has agreed to be a board member with Womens Way.  She will be working in all areas of the organization with a special interest in communication and DETAIL.  Listed below is a bio for Roberta.

Roberta Schultz

Roberta Schultz has spent most of her life performing in music ensembles, the most recent one being Raison D'Etre, a vocal group of three women who sing intricate three-part arrangements of traditional folk, swing, Shaker, and original songs. Included since 2000 in the Kentucky Arts Council's "Performing Arts on Tour Directory," this trio sings at many venues throughout the tristate including Cincinnati Music Hall, Tall Stacks Art, Music and Heritage Festival, The Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen Spring and Fall Fairs, The Singletary Center for the Arts, Richmond Area Arts Council's Celebration of Women in the Arts, and KET's "Mixed Media" and "In Performance at the Governor's Mansion."

Ma Crow kicks off 'Women at Monmouth'

Bluegrass meets the blues in a great collaboration of veteran artists Saturday as the "Women at the Monmouth" music series kicks off five solid shows.

Sponsored by the relatively new non-profit support group Women's Way, the series begins Friday with bluegrass singer Ma Crow teaming with gritty bluesman Greg Schaber and bassist Larry Nager. Yes, that would be "Crow, Schaber and Nager," although Nager acknowledges CS&N is already taken as a moniker.

Nager, who has often drifted between the blues and bluegrass with his upright bass, was behind bringing the two veteran singers together.
